Curry Fish Head in Taman Molek

Posted in food,Johor Bahru, malaysia by chrisau on September 16, 2008

If you want to enjoy ‘healthy’ and delicious curry fish head and residing in JB or Singapore, look no further. Try the Bai Her restaurant in Taman Molek. Once my parents are here for the last 2 weeks, and after thinking of where to bring them for dinner, I decided to try this. It’s a safer option as so far, most of the folks I brought them gives a thumbs up to this place.

Let’s put the curry fish head aside first. They do also prepare some other nice dishes, which is a favourite especially for cantonese folks. As above is pork braised. The pork fats seems to ‘move’ when picked up. πŸ™‚

Something healthier here, a siew pak choy (hope I got it right) to go with the meats.

Their egg bacon is very smooth. This is one of the dishes I usually ordered when there are kids around. They simply love it!

And, okie, the main attraction as below, taken in three shots. It might looked ordinary but the specialty is the curry are cooked with fresh milk, instead of coconut milk. This reduces cholesterol and make it an healthier choice, besides it’s also very tasty.

Yummy!!! The fish meat are in big chunks when picked up. I can mixed the gravy in my rice and order extra rice…!! πŸ™‚

you bet. He almost single-handedly finish all the fat stuffs and even praised the restaurant manager on the good food. So, guess it;s not a bad choice bringing them here. My big bro took all these pics. I bring you here when you are in JB next time.
