Food and Tea restaurant, Tebrau City, JB

One of the favourite haunts for JB folks to enjoy HK food is the Food and Tea chain, which has its presence in both Jusco’s Permas Jaya and Tebrau City.  The Tebrau City branch has a slightly bigger space than the Permas outlet. Usually, I prefers to try on their ‘ying-yang’ (tea + coffee + milk) and the Nissin noodles with ham and egg.

However, this time round, I was more adventurous and try out other offerings on the menu. I had coffee instead of ying-yang and claypot ‘lo shee fun’ with salted fish. (as below)

The claypot ‘loo shee fun’ with salted fish was good! The salted fish gravy was all over the noodles and it was very appetising! However, the Yang chow fried rice was just ok, though the portion was big.

Food & Tea is located at level 2, Tebrau City Shopping centre, JB.

kikey… yong chow fried rice is quite common over the globe. The claypot noodle might be a bit localised.
